Last Friday morning, Kat DeLuna visited La Mega 97.9 radio studio in New York, for a brief interview on the show El Vacilón de la Mañana.She also took fan calls; all of them complimented her on her voice, songs and videos. One of them even told her that she’s meant to go very far with her career.
The radio host praised the way she always represents the Latin culture on all of her videos, to which she responded that although most of her songs are electro-pop, she always tries to add some latin flavor to all of them because even though she was born in New York, but most of her family is from the Dominican Republic, so she feels like a Dominican-American person, therefore no matter what project she’s working on, she always thinks in pleasing both sides before she gets involved with it.
When asked about her love life, she said she's currently not dating anyone, but that she has a crush on someone that is not a celebrity or famous, and so she couldn't give his name.
She also told everyone that not one of the dancers featured in the “Drop It Low” video are professionals. They were all fans and people alike that submitted vía Twitter and Facebook, a YouTube video with them dancing to the song.
Before saying goodbye, she made everyone in the studio dance to the rhythm of “Drop It Low”, and then she thanked all of her loyal and loving fans for all of their constant support and that she appreciate and loves them a lot. And encouraged them to sent her tweets, write her on her Facebook and sent her videos dancing to the beat of her songs.

En la mañana del viernes pasado, Kat DeLuna visitó los estudios de radio de La Mega 97.9 de New York, para una breve entrevista en el show El Vacilón de la Mañana.
También atendió varios llamados de fans; todos ellos la elogiaron por su voz, sus canciones y sus videos. Una oyente, inclusive, le dijo que ella está destinada a llejar muy lejos con su carrera.
El conductor de la radio también le alabo por la manera en que siempre representa a la cultura Latina en todos sus videos, a lo cual ella respondió que, a pesar de que, la mayoría de sus canciones son electro-pop, ella siempre trata de adherir un sabor latino a todos ellas, porque aunque haya nacido en Nueva York, la mayoría de sus familiares son de la República Dominicana, por lo tanto se siente como una persona de nacionalidad Dominicana-Americana, y no importa cuál sea el proyecto en el cual este trabajando, siempre se asegura de que va a satisfacer ambas culturas antes de involucrarse en el.
Cuando le preguntaron sobre su vida amorosa, ella dijo que actualmente no esta saliendo con nadie, pero que siente una fuerte atracción por alguien que no es una celebridad y tampoco es famoso, y por lo tanto no puede revelar su nombre.También reveló que ninguno de los bailarines que aparecen en el video de “Drop It Low” son profesionales. Que todos son fans y personas que fueron seleccionadas al enviar sus videos de YouTube donde bailaban la canción, vía Twitter y Facebook.
Antes de despedirse, Kat puso a bailar a todos en la radio al ritmo de “Drop It Low”, y luego agradeció a todos sus leales y amados seguidores por su apoyo constante y que los aprecia y quiere muchísimo. Y los alentó a que le escriban tweets, o en el Facebook, y que también envíen videos bailando al ritmo de sus canciones.
